PERSONAL
Sage Kimzey grew up in a small town called Strong City, Oklahoma with a total population of 23. He comes from a family of ranchers and has a rich family history within the PRCA.
Kimzey married Award-Winning Journalist and Author, Alexis Bloomer, in October 2020. They currently live in Salado, TX.
When he is not riding, you can find Sage playing golf or building things in his wood shop. Kimzey studies the mental aspect of competing more than most and he prides himself on being a great example to all inside and out of the arena.
His favorite book is Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz and his favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption.
A PROVEN WINNER
Sage Kimzey first came on the scene in 2013, where he set a record for the most money won on a permit in a single season. In his second year competing he became the first Rookie since 1963 to win a World Title and Rookie Title in the same year. Since his first year in 2014, Kimzey has went on to win 6 World Championships total and secured his place in history as the youngest millionaire in the sport of rodeo.

OUTSIDE OF THE ARENA
Sage Kimzey is proud to give back outside of the arena as well. He proudly rides with a USAF Thunderbirds patch on his vest and is one of the only athletes to do so. He is an avid supporter of the military and has ridden with the dog tags of fallen soldiers on more than one occasion. In addition, he has been featured in a Lace Up America campaign and he has raised money through riding for the American Valor Foundation. Kimzey also serves as an honorary board member for Bob Tallman Charity Foundation, which benefits MD Anderson and scholarship opportunities. He never misses a chance to give back or spend time mentoring children.
Sage Kimzey has been featured in many industries outside of rodeo. Kimzey has been featured in Tom Brady's documentary, "The Religion of Sports," a Bleacher Report segment for the Super Bowl, a catalog for Harrod's and various media campaigns.
